Point Ruston
The McBride Cohen Company served as the construction and development manager for the development of Point Ruston, a $1.2 Billion waterfront neighborhood developed on an exceptional 97-acre property within the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan area. The project was led by Mike & Loren Cohen, with Loren M. Cohen serving as Managing Director.

Situated along nearly one mile of Puget Sound shoreline, Point Ruston features the best in Pacific Northwest living, dining, shopping & entertainment. A vibrant mixed-use neighborhood, Point Ruston is designed as a lifestyle center, with a focus on experiential retail and lifestyle amenities. Providing housing for more than 3,000 residents in approximately 2.5 million total sq. ft. of mixed-use real estate, Point Ruston features nearly 1.1 million sq. ft. of commercial and retail space and approximately 1,800 for-sale and for-rent multi-family residential units -- along with a luxury single-family neighborhood dubbed "Stack Hill", which is perched just above the project site. The retail core of Point Ruston consists of a luxurious Century Theatre cinema, dozens of retail shops and dining destinations, a 194-room resort-quality Silver Cloud Hotel, 30,000 square foot public market and neighborhood anchored retail center, along with numerous recreational amenities.

Serving as a destination that attracts millions of people a year from across the Puget Sound region, the Point Ruston site was one of the last remaining undeveloped waterfront properties of its size in the region. It was a Superfund site requiring extensive environmental cleanup, all of which was managed by The McBride Cohen Company,
Point Ruston, LLC served as the master developer of the project, an entity established to develop and finance the project. While The McBride Cohen Company and its affiliates provided all facets of day-to-day management of the design, development, construction, property management & administration of Point Ruston.
